a)      Once logged on successfully, this is the main page that users will see.

b)      The left portion is comprised of navigation buttons.

c)      The right portion is content, which by default will display the first group of reports, ie the first tab.

d)      On the right portion, the reports are segregated by period of reporting. eg reports generated daily will be grouped under daily; reports generated hourly will be grouped under hourly etc

e)      To expand and collapse the daily, hourly and monthly reports, simply click on the respective row.

f)        At the right of each report name are

                                                               i.      report ready indicator  or

A tick signifies that the latest report (instance) is ready for viewing. Eg for daily report, if the report of the day is ready, a tick will be displayed; but a clock will be displayed if otherwise.

                                                             ii.      show thumbnail icon

Click on the icon to show respective report thumbnail – a miniature of the first page of a report.


 

                                                            iii.      summary / main report

A hyperlink – click on it pop up a window for report viewing.

                                                           iv.      detail / subreport

A hyperlink – will be displayed if the repective report has subreport.

Tips: Subreport may be accessed from within main report too.

 

 


 

  1. Report Viewing

a)      On the top bar of window is the report name that you are currently viewing.

b)      Message under the yellow indicates the latest instance is ready. Please refer to figure 2.0

c)      If report is not ready yet, the message will be “Please choose previous instance”.

d)      Please choose the desired data date that you want to view and click the button “View Report”.

e)      The respective report will be displayed for the data date chosen.

f)        Click on the back button if you wish to change the data date. Please refer to figure 2.1

g)      If the respective report has subreport, you may access the subreport by clicking on the hyperlink in the report.

h)      Another window will pop up to display the respective subreport. Please refere to figure 2.2

i)         To toggle show or hide group tree click on the first button on the left

j)         To save a copy of the report on your hard disk click on the second button on the left. A window will pop up for you to select the report format you wish to save. Formats include doc, pdf, xls, rpt etc. Please refer Figure 2.3

k)       To print report. Once click, a dialog box will pop up to choose the pages you wish to print. The print function will then export the report into pdf format. You may choose to save the pdf file or open directly. Now you may print the report using the print button in the pdf reader. Tips: require adobe pdf reader installed.

l)         Goto the first page of report

m)     Goto the previous page of report

n)       Goto the next page of report

o)       Goto the last page of report

p)       Key the specified page in the text box next to this button and click on this button to goto specific page

q)       Search function

r)       you may also choose the magnification size from the magnification drop down list

  1. Personal Folder

 

a)      Each icon represent different file format.

a.        - doc

b.       - xls

c.        - pdf

d.       - txt

e.        - rpt

b)      Click on the file name to open the file.

c)      If you wish to delete a file from your personal folder, click on the delete link.

  1. Feedback

 

a)      If you wish to provice feedback to the administrator, you may use this feeback function.

b)      User Name and DateTime is automatically captured.

c)      Key in your text and click send.

d)      The message will be sent to the administrator.

b)      A new window will pop up for the new locations.
